Foot in the Door Entertainment was founded 2010 to fill a need — connecting film school graduates to the industry at large. After working individually for almost a decade in the film industry, the founding members came together over a shared interest in developing undiscovered talent and a passion for making movies.
Team Bios
Brandon Margolis is a writer/producer who served as a Creative Executive for writer/director/producer Paul Feig (creator of FREAKS AND GEEKS) from 2006-2009. Working on a feature film and numerous network TV series, including the entire fifth season of THE OFFICE, Brandon has cultivated his craft of developing projects for both film and television, and has been responsible for helping recognize the quality of potential projects for actors, writers, and directors.
Brandon Sonnier was born in Houston, Texas and attended USC where he graduated with a B.A. in Cinema-Television, Production. At the age of 20, Sonnier became the youngest filmmaker to date to have a feature film premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Brandon’s credits include directing three independent feature films and a national commercial, writing several screenplays for various production companies, and editing numerous television series and specials.
Sean E. Williams is a writer/producer with a background in physical production, having served as a producer on two independent features, a webseries, and numerous cultural training films for the Department of Defense. A graduate of the USC School of Cinema-Television, Production, Sean’s experience also includes stints as a story analyst for East of Doheny and as a development executive at several independent production companies.
